A review:The Arterial blood pressure and its regulation

Gyanendra Gupta, Gagan Devi

Abstract

In day to day era, hypertension is becoming a very common disorder affecting a large number of people. The human body is an incredibly complex machine which maintains important physiological parameters such as temperature, blood pressure, pH, and blood sugar levels in narrow ranges. An important parameter that must be kept within the normal range for biological health is blood pressure. In response to certain situations, a series of actions take place in the body that can either raise or lower the blood pressure. It is vital to understand these actions and why they take place. As Ayurveda, the science of life focuses on prevention of a disease compared to treatment, so in the case of treatment of hypertension, it becomes crucial to know normal physiology of blood pressure regulation. This article highlights the summary based on the physiology of blood pressure regulation.
