Importance of Blood Pressure and Pulse Rate, Vital Signs That Should Be Neglected by Nurse

Abstract


The cardiovascular nursing is an important concept in clinical practice. Many patients present with some degrees of cardiovascular disorders. The diagnosis of the cardiovascular problem might be possible by a good basic history taking and health examination. The basic vital sign monitoring is the role of nurse in general and the nurse has to recognize the importance of the procedure and should not ignore good nursing practice regarding blood pressure and pulse rate monitoring. The details and discussions regarding blood pressure and pulse rate assessments are presented in this short article.
