Post Stroke Fatigue

Abstract


Post stroke fatigue affects sensorimotor, cognitive, emotional domains characterized by extreme tiredness, weakness of limbs during daily activities and usually not ameliorated by rest. It is the feeling of lack of energy and weariness and an aversion of effort. Cardiovascular exercise is an important tool and highly recommended intervention. Exercise offers one of the most effective interventions to enhance neurocognitive functioning. It also may decrease depression and improve sleep. By proper life time modification and planning and practicing important tasks may be helpful.
