A Descriptive Study on Health-Related Quality of Life and Coping Strategies among Adolescents with Epilepsy at Selected Hospitals

Abstract


A descriptive research design was used to associate between health-related quality of life and coping strategies regarding adolescents with epilepsy at selected hospitals. Sample was selected by convenient sampling technique. Data were collected from 30 adolescents with epilepsy, by using modified QOLIE-AD-48 Health-Related Quality-of-Life and coping strategies questionnaires for adolescents with epilepsy. This study will help to recognize the potential effects of epilepsy on all aspects of life of adolescents. This study helps to recognize the coping strategies in adolescents in order to enhance the quality of life of adolescents with epilepsy.
