Abstract

Despite great step made by the international women’s rights movement over many years, girls and women around the globe are still married as children or trafficked into forced labor and sex slavery. Violence against women’s is a manifestation of historically unequal power relations amid women and men, which have led to domination over and discrimination against women by men and to the prevention of the full advancement of women, and that violence against women is one of the social mechanisms by which women are forced in to a subordinate position compared with men. Women's rights are the rights and entitlements claimed for women and girls globally and formed the basis for the women's rights movement in the nineteenth century and feminist movement during the 20th century.
