Abstract

Quality of life (QOL) is one of the important aspects to live our life with happiness without any kind of physical and mental illnesses. The World Health Organization (WHO) describes quality of life as how individuals view their position in life in the setting of cultural value-systems in which they live in relation to their goals, hopes, expectations, standards and concerns. QOL is the subjective perception and evaluation of people’s living conditions based on their standards. This implies that QOL is the multidimensional and value-driven construct. A good quality of life does not possess only about the well being of a person’s health, also it assesses various needs for the care and attention. Good quality of life is to improve the general health and functions of the patients with chronic illness and disability.
