A Descriptive Study to Assess the Knowledge on Impact of Curriculum Innovation on Competitive Examination Among Nurses Working in Selected Hospital, at Chennai

Abstract


The main aim study to assess the knowledge on impact of curriculum innovation on competitive examination among nurses. And also assessing the compatibility of a new academic nursing curriculum with the new trends in the health care system and educational philosophy, and the extent to which the new programme represented an innovation in the nursing education. 0The study design chosen for the study is descriptive method. The sample size was 40. Convenience sampling technique was chosen for this study. Among the 30 participants had an adequate level of knowledge none of them had inadequate knowledge. Total mean square value are –39.5 SD –3.23.
