An Overview of Human Papilloma Virus Vaccine for Prevention of Cervical Cancer

Abstract


Cervical cancer is the one of major women’s reproductive health problem, especially in developing countries, where over 80% of 231000 women yearly dies from cervical cancer. Cervical cancer, like many other illnesses, is a taboo subject in some communities. The concept of preventive screening inevitably raises fears about cancer for many women. The anxiety felt by women (often caused by misconceptions) demands time and attention from health care providers.
