Knowledge Level on Pneumonia Prevention among Mothers of Under-Five Children

Abstract


Worldwide, a leading infectious cause of death is due to lower respiratory tract infections. The purpose of the study was to assess the knowledge level of mothers of under-five children regarding the prevention of pneumonia. Quantitative research approach with non-experimental research design was used for the study. By non-probability convenient sampling method, 50 samples were selected. Structured questionnaire was used to collect the data, and by using descriptive and inferential statistics, data were analyzed. The study concluded that there was no significant association between the knowledge level and demographic variables.
