Menopause meant permanent cessation of reproductive fertility, occurring sometimes before the end of natural lifespan. Menopause has an impact on woman’s quality-of-life. A menopausal natural remedy such as yoga can help immensely in managing the menopausal symptoms and making this natural passage in life for women a much more comfortable journey. A True experimental study was done to evaluate the effectiveness of yoga therapy on quality-of-life among menopausal women. 60 menopausal women (experimental group -30 and control group - 30) were selected as sample by using simple random sampling (Lottery method). Modified standardized scale for assessing quality-of-life was administered and data was analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. The Study findings concluded that in experimental group, before administering yoga therapy (pranayama) 20% menopausal women were having severe menopausal symptoms, 73.3% having moderate menopausal symptoms and 6.7% having mild menopausal symptoms and after administration of yoga therapy (pranayama), all the samples (100%) have shown mild menopausal symptoms. None of them were suffering with moderate and severe menopausal symptoms. In control group, pretest shown that 13.3% menopausal women were having severe menopausal symptoms, 83.3% having moderate menopausal symptoms and 3.3% having mild menopausal symptoms and posttest 10% were suffering with severe menopausal symptoms, 86.7% with moderate menopausal symptoms and 3.3% with mild menopausal symptoms. In experimental group after administering yoga therapy (pranayama) all the samples were having mild menopausal symptoms, whereas in control group after doing simple exercises majority of the samples were having moderate menopausal symptoms.
