Assess the Level of Physical and Psychological Problems Faced by Women Who Attained Menopause

Abstract


Menopause is an important development event in a woman’s life having physical, psychological and social implications for the women. The objective was to assess the level of physical and psychological problems among women who attained menopause. The convenience sampling technique was adopted and a structured questionnaire was used to assess the level of physical and psychological problems of menopausal women. Women’s health assumes importance because their health status affects the whole family. Nurses have to help them to promote healthy life styles during this period.
