A Study to Assess the Effect of Structured Teaching Programme Regarding Selected Government Schemes on Knowledge among Resident People

Abstract


The study aimed to assess the effect of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding selected government schemes of resident people and to find out the association between knowledge score with their selected demographic variables. 30 resident people were selected as sample of the present study from different categories of resident people from Gour Tiraha Jabalpur and were selected using the convenient purposive sampling. It was concluded that there was significant improvement in post-test knowledge score. The knowledge improvement mean score was 26.97 with SD 1.59 and‘t’ value was 12.25 which is much higher than the required table value p>0.05 (2.04) df=29 which showed the effectiveness of structured teaching programme. So educating the people regarding selected Government schemes will help them to improve knowledge.
