Abstract


Today, rapid growth of population is identified as a major problem in the society and it mainly occurs due to lack of knowledge regarding the contraceptives. Family planning is the method in which family is planned according to choose. The aim of conducting the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding family planning methods among primigravida mothers and to evaluate research approach pre experimental one group pre-test post design. In the present study primigravida mothers had been selected by using non-probability purposive sampling technique. Data had collected from the primigravida mothers regarding demographic variables and knowledge regarding family planning methods in selected villages with the help of structured teaching programme. Data had collected through questionnaire which was distributed to each female. At the end of teaching doubts had cleared. The data had analyzed by using descriptive & inferential statistical.
