Antenatal Care

Abstract


This article focuses on the importance of antenatal care during the pregnancy and which special care should be taken by mother during all the three trimester. Antenatal care is a type of care the women get from health professionals during the pregnancy. It involves the clinical assessment of mother and fetus during the pregnancy. Antenatal care helps to prevent some of the complications and also help for early diagnosis of some problems. It gives opportunity to understand the whole process of pregnancy, birth and early parenting. By appropriate measures it helps to reduce the risk of stillbirths and prevent many of the deaths and diseases.
