Abstract

Nearly two third of the people who do not report daily mental health problems eat fresh fruit or fruit juice every day. Those who have the habit of eating unhealthy foods such as chips and crisps, chocolate, and ready meals etc, will be complaining of mental health problems. This indicates that food plays an important contributing role in the development, management and prevention of mental health problems.
