Adolescence is the period of developmental transition between childhood and adulthood, involving multiple physical, intellectual, personality, and social developmental changes. Due to rapid changes adolescents face lot of challenges. They are unintentional injury suicide, homicide, unplanned pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), substance abuse, etc. Adolescence is a developmental period characterized by multiple changes in virtually every aspect of an individual’s life, calling for new psychological adjustments.
