Abstract

Substance abuse is a problem that has raised concern all over the world. Addiction is a family disease, one person may use, but the whole family suffers. The purpose of the study was to assess the knowledge and attitude of adolescents regarding substance abuse and to aware them about this problem. Data were collected from 100 adolescents with self-structured knowledge questionnaire and attitude scale and found that adolescents have poor knowledge and unfavorable attitude regarding substance abuse. The study concluded that knowledge and attitude of adolescents are significantly correlated with each other.
