Therapeutic Massage useful for Diabetes Mellitus Patients

Abstract


Diabetes is a chronic condition that mainly occurs when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or the body cannot effectively use the insulin it produced by hyperglycemia and other related disorders in the body’s metabolism can lead to serious damage to many of the body systems especially nerves and blood vessels. Diabetic complications are classified in to two major categories like acute and chronic. Diabetes patients use therapeutic massage to improve symptom control and their personal sense of wellbeing.
