Assessment Of Attitude Towards Online Learning Among Nursing Students During Thecovid-19 Pandemic

Abstract


During the COVID-19 pandemic, In India most nursing professors and students suddenly find themselves forced to use technology as they teach and learn. There is a sudden shift in the academia of nursing. A panel of nursing educators explored the attitudes about online education among nursing students. This study is conducted with the objective to determine the student’s attitude towards online learning in selected colleges. A tailormade self-administered validated, 5 point Likert scale was used for data collection from a sample of 618 nursing students from different nursing colleges. Result of the study shows 48.4 % of participants have agreed for the statement that online learning is not efficient as traditional classroom teaching, 61.7% of participants have agreed that online learning is regarded as an assisted learning tool and 23.5% of participants were uncertain about online learning environment enhances my problem solving skills. Its shows negative approach among students regarding online learning.
