Bio Medical Waste Management Among Nursing Students with an View to Develop Information Leaflet

Abstract


The study was assessing the knowledge of Bio medical waste management. Material and Methods: Research Study done in JSS College of Nursing Mysore. A descriptive design with non probability convenient sampling technique and forty students were selected. Study conducted for nursing students. Structured knowledge questionnaire was used to assessing the knowledge about biomedical waste management. The mean level of knowledge score of Nursing students that two (5%) had poor knowledge, thirty two (80%) had average knowledge and six (15%) had good knowledge. It’s showing that the study was most effective in gaining the knowledge of biomedical waste management.
