Review structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding soft drink consumption among school going children

Abstract


AIM: A pre-experimental study to assess the knowledge regarding soft drink consumption in school going children in selected community area Mudh, Jalandhar (Punjab).OBJECTIVES: (1) To assess the pre-test knowledge regarding consumption of soft drinks among children in selected area. (2) To assess the post-test knowledge regarding consumption of soft drinks among children in selected area. (3) To compare the pre-test and post-test knowledge score regarding soft drink consumption. (4) To determine the association between knowledge regarding soft drink among children with selected socio-demographic variables. METHODOLOGY: In this study, one group pre-test and post-test research design is used. The study samples include 60 school going children of government girls’ school in Jalandhar Punjab. Participants were selected by using purposive sampling technique will be used for the study. Structural knowledge questionnaire containing 30 multiple choice questions, was developed
