The present study intended to assess the level of stress and compare the stress level of postnatal mothers who underwent Lower segment Cesarean section (LSCS) and Normal Vaginal delivery. A descriptive research design, survey approach was used. Through simple random sampling 120 respondents were selected; out of them 60 were mothers underwent normal delivery and rest were those who underwent LSCS. Low to moderate level of stress was observed in both postnatal mothers who underwent normal vaginal delivery and LSCS. In comparison the overall mean score of stress of postnatal mothers who have undergone normal delivery is more than that of those who underwent LSCS (44.9>33.4) and it is significant at 0.05 level.
