Abstract

Thirty adolescent girls from Hillside Public School were chosen as study participants using a simple random sampling technique. The adolescents were given a structured knowledge questionnaire to collect the necessary data. Results: The results revealed that 80% of the adolescent girls have inadequate knowledge, 17% have moderately adequate knowledge, and 3% have adequate knowledge regarding premenstrual syndrome and menstrual hygiene.
