Abstract


Aim of the Study: The primary aim of the present study is to assess the effect of infertility on marital life, sexual satisfaction indices and health-related quality of life among infertile women with a view to encourage and to provide counseling to infertile women to assess the effect of infertility on marital life, sexual satisfaction indices and health-related quality of life. Objectives: general objective: To assess the effect of infertility on marital life, sexual satisfaction indices and health-related quality of life among infertile women. Specific objectives: (1) To assess the effect of infertility on marital life among infertile women. (2) To assess the effect of infertility on sexual satisfaction indices among infertile women. (3) To assess the effect of infertility on health-related quality of life among infertile women. (4) To correlate the effect of infertility on marital life, sexual satisfaction indices and health-related quality of life among infertile women. (5) To determine the association of the effect of infertility on marital life, sexual satisfaction indices and health related quality of life among infertile women with selected demographic variables. (6) To provide counselling to assess the effect of infertility on marital life, sexual satisfaction indices and health-related quality of life among infertile women. This study investigated the effect of infertility on marital life, sexual satisfaction indices and health-related quality of life among 500 infertile women in selected infertility clinics, Punjab.
